I definitely look for ways to volunteer, collect items, donate when ever I can. It is something that has been a big part of who I am for years. One of our local puppy shelters is in need of some help, and they are selling raffle tickets for $2 a piece. They asked local businesses to donate items... I don't have much to give right now, but I decided to make them a few things that they can use in their raffle.
I made these boxes that they can use to make gift baskets to raffle. They are made from diaper boxes, duck tape, and chalkboard paint...so a message can be written on the front.
And I made this doggie treat jar from a sanitized pickle jar, and a painted glass.
I can always make more if anyone is interested in having these items for themselves. Just ask!
